Potato cutlets in batter

Cooking potato cutlets in batter. Very easy! Very tasty!

For this we need:

3 potatoes (800 grams).

1 small carrot Butter 50 grams.

100 grams of cheddar cheese.

Salt. Black pepper. Green onion or parsley.

Dough: 2 eggs. 1/2 teaspoon salt (4 grams). 4 tablespoons of flour (80 grams). 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 2 tablespoons of yogurt (100 grams).

Fry: 1 cup vegetable oil (200 ml). Serve with sour cream or yogurt.


We take 3-5 pieces of potatoes (800 grams)

Cut potatoes coarsely.

Pour boiling water over until potatoes are covered.

Finely grate one small carrot.

Butter in a frying pan. A pinch of salt. Slightly fry the carrots.

Boil potatoes until soft.

Mash potatoes and add half a teaspoon of salt and black pepper (4 grams each).

100 grams of cheddar cheese grated on a coarse grater.

Add cheese to mashed potatoes and mix thoroughly.

Then finely chop the green onion and parsley.

Add with carrots to potatoes and mix with potatoes.

 

We make batter in a separate bowl:

We take two eggs. Break in a separate bowl, salt and beat with a whisk.

Add four tablespoons of flour (80g)

We mix.

Add half a teaspoon of baking powder.

We mix.

Add two tablespoons of sour cream or yogurt.

Mix until smooth.

The batter is ready.

 

Then:

Lightly grease your hands with vegetable oil.

Take one to two tablespoons of the potato mixture and shape it into a ball.

Pour one glass of vegetable oil into a frying pan on the stove.

Roll potatoes in batter.

Fry potatoes on both sides over medium heat.

Serve with sour cream or yoghurt.
