Potato donuts

Potato donuts are very quick and easy to make. Potato donuts are delicious!

For this we need:

400 g potatoes (3 pcs).

3 tablespoons of starch.

1 large onion.

100 grams mozzarella cheese (optional).

2 eggs.

4 tablespoons of flour.

4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs.

200 ml vegetable oil.

1/2 a teaspoon of salt.

1/2 teaspoon black pepper.


Peel, cut and boil 3 potatoes (400 grams).

Salt (half a teaspoon) and add a little black pepper.

Make a puree – mash the potatoes.

Add three tablespoons of starch.

Use the onion as a mold for potato donuts. We need a large onion, cut it into three parts.

Then cut the Mozzarella cheese (optional) to size and insert into the onion ring.

Wrap the potatoes around the onion mold. We make the shape of a potato donut.

Then you need three bowls.

Pour four tablespoons of flour into a separate first bowl.

In the second bowl, stir two eggs. We add some salt.

Pour half a cup of breadcrumbs into a third bowl.

Dip the potato donut one by one, first roll well in flour, then in the egg and then in breadcrumbs.

We heat vegetable oil (one glass of 200 ml) in a frying pan and fry potato donuts.

Potato donuts are delicious with ketchup.
